Having trouble sending email to Yahoo email addresses? Try implementing the DomainKeys framework. DomainKeys was developed by Yahoo to verify the DNS domain of an e-mail sender and the integrity of e-mail messages in order to combat SPAM. We have recently added support for DomainKeys (more info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DomainKeys) to our email servers which basically adds a header called 'DomainKey-Signature' to outgoing emails. This signature is then verified via DNS by those email systems that are looking for it (such as Yahoo). If you would like us to enable this for your domain, just authorize us to modify your DNS zone to add the additional .TXT record that is required for DomainKeys implementation. Once implemented, In the Yahoo webmail interface, a Yahoo user will see a confirmation notice right underneath the 'from' address that says: 'Yahoo! DomainKeys has confirmed that this message was sent by <domain name>.' I can't guarantee that your emails will get past Yahoo's filters any better, but it will probably add a few 'brownie points' to the score of the email message. By having this DomainKey signature in the header of your email messages, you are giving Yahoo the ability to verify the source domain of the message. This type of system seems to be part of the solution to the SPAM problem. Spammers have increasingly turned to 'spoofing' the domain/from address they are using to send SPAM from in order to cover their tracks. DomainKeys allows email servers to verify the source domain and reject the email if it did not actually come from an authorized email server.
